Yahna Williamson

Yahna Williamson grew up near an oil refinery in Richmond, California, giving her firsthand insights into the impact of environmental factors on health. Dedicated to reducing preventable health issues that disproportionately affect people of color due to environmental injustice and systemic racism, Yahna is committed to making a difference in her community. She recently graduated from UC Berkeley with her Master’s in Public Health, and began working as a Management Analyst in the Environmental and Health Initiatives Division at the City of Richmond. Yahna is also actively involved in initiatives related to renewable energy and home electrification efforts, working towards creating cleaner, healthier, equitable communities.
