Reaching Out On the Streets of Berkeley and Albany

With funding from the City of Berkeley, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI), BOSS will provide outreach, engagement and services/supports and/or referrals to 50 – 100 unduplicated homeless TAY, Adults, and Older Adults (in particular women) in Berkeley and Albany who are in need of mental health supports linking them to mental health and ancillary services that will include outreach and engagement; client advocacy; education; assessment; case management; crisis intervention; mental health counseling; transportation assistance; and supported referrals.

Project staff will work closely with Berkeley Mental Health (BMH) to both accept referrals of those who meet program criteria and to refer those who are in need of more intensive mental health services.
