BOSS invites you to participate in our annual Adopt A Family program in the spirit of giving and community. Each year BOSS works diligently to ensure that every family and individual we serve experiences the joy and warmth of the season—something that everyone deserves, especially during challenging times.
Why Adopt A Family Matters
For many in our community, the holiday season can be a stark reminder of what they lack—financial stability, a permanent home, or even basic necessities. The Adopt A Family campaign directly addresses these hardships by pairing donors with families and individuals from our shelters and programs to provide them with gifts, essentials, and a sense of belonging during the holiday season.
Participating in Adopt A Family isn’t just about giving gifts—it’s about fostering hope, joy, and resilience. Last year, thanks to our compassionate donors, over 100 families received holiday cheer through gifts and essential items. These gestures of kindness are more than just material: they are affirmations that our community cares, supports, and stands by those facing tough times.
How You Can Make a Difference
Support a family or individual directly. You’ll receive a wish list curated by our participants, allowing you to provide personalized gifts that meet their needs and brighten their holidays.
If you prefer to contribute financially, your donations will be used to purchase gifts and essential items for families not directly adopted.
Join us in wrapping, organizing, and distributing gifts. It’s a beautiful way to meet other community members and directly engage in the spirit of giving.
Keep Making An Impact
Whether you adopt a family, make a donation or volunteer, your involvement is crucial to making the holiday season brighter for those who face the most incredible hardships.
Please join BOSS in coming together with other community members to make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. Your kindness can turn the holiday season into a time of magic and hope for families who need it most. Let's show that our community is a place of support and generosity—today and every day.
