Tiny Homes Employment Workshop

BOSS Bay Area held an Employment Workshop at our Fairmont Navigation Center Tiny Homes Village in San Leandro.

The event was presented from BOSS' Career Training and Employment Center(CTEC). CTEC is located in our Downtown Oakland Neighborhood Impact Hub, who provide a wealth of resources that include education, job training, and employment services for anyone with barriers to employment, including those who have been impacted by the justice system.

Tiny Homes guests were given resources and training on job readiness, employment opportunities, resume building and mock interviews.

BOSS holds workshops like these to create opportunities for individuals to become self-sufficient. We welcome other organizations to partner with us to share information about training and apprenticeship opportunities, and career options available in specific fields.

If you're interested in partnering with us or hosting a workshop at BOSS please contact Sonja at sfitz@self-sufficiency.org
