Thank You for Joining BOSS at the WCRC Grand Opening Party!

Updated: Aug 25, 2022

Last Friday, December 17th marked the Grand Opening of the BOSS Women & Children's Reentry Campus (WCRC)! More than 30 people attended the event, celebrating the wonderful opportunity to gather, share personal stories, enjoy vibrant music, delicious food, raffle prizes, and giveaways!

After people gathered and enjoyed delicious food from FiftySevenNorth Catering and music from DJ Red Corvette. The WCRC staff led guests on a brief tour around the building, which provides both private living units and common space for meals and house activities.

We welcomed inspirational guest speakers including Mayor Libby Schaaf, District 7 Council Member Treva Reid, Alameda County Probation Officer Tyler Zatcoff, and staff of Assembly Member Mia Bonta's Office Assembly District 18.

Special thanks to Markeysha, a resident of WCRC for sharing her personal story and gratitude for this program.

WCRC is the latest addition in BOSS's Reentry Housing Network - a network of housing programs with on-site services we are expanding to provide safe, secure housing and support for returning citizens.

If you have property you would like to see developed for this purpose, please contact Donald Frazier, BOSS Executive Director, at dfrazier@self-sufficiency.org or 510-649-1930 x 1012.

Thank you to the event planning team in BOSS, all the staff at WCRC, and all of our guests! We wish the very best health, success, and bright futures to all women and children who pass through this program.
