GRAND OPENING: Women & Children’s Reentry Campus in East Oakland!

Updated: Dec 7, 2021

BOSS Bay Area is excited to announce Grand Opening of our new Women & Children’s Reentry Campus (WCRC)! Come celebrate this exciting moment with us on Friday, December 17at 1 pm. WCRC is located at 7894 Ney Ave in East Oakland.

The event will include music, food, guest speakers, raffle prizes, and giveaways! We are excited to see you there.

WCRC offers interim housing and onsite services for women or women with children who are returning from incarceration. The program helps them reintegrate into the community, transition into stable housing, reunify with family, and attain pro-social relationships. Services include case management, life skills classes, peer support groups, and more.

As part of our Housing Security strategy, BOSS operates housing programs that specifically serve formerly incarcerated and justice involved individuals - creating safe and supported places for people to build new skills and positive social networks, overcome trauma, and work on lasting life changes. Staff support and peer mentoring are available on-site in all BOSS reentry housing programs.

BOSS offers a range of programs and services to help justice-involved people reintegrate into the community, find permanent homes, reconnect with family, and form healthier relationships. BOSS is dedicated to reinvesting in our target neighborhoods, with 90 percent of the employees of our Neighborhood Safety and Reentry services having firsthand knowledge from lived experience.
