DVP Town Hall for Oakland Youth (March 31, 1:30-3:30 PM)

Updated: Apr 1, 2021

City of Oakland - Deptarment of Violence Prevention community engagement process continues with a town hall dedicated to Oakland youth scheduled for March 31 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The information collected will inform our strategic planning and future investments in programs and services towards reducing violence and trauma. A flyer with additional information about the town hall is attached to this email.

This town hall is for youth throughout the City to talk about violence prevention/intervention efforts - what's working, what needs improvement and what is missing - and what the department should prioritize in our next spending plan.

We are looking forward to hearing directly from the youth in this next town hall. Please share this information widely with youth that you work with and other youth serving organizations - thank you!
