BOSS Bay Area is commemorating Black August with a community Block Party ~ Resource Fair & Virtual Mural Unveiling representative of where we came from, where we're at and where we need to go.... study, fast, train & fight!!!
Lineage, Loyalty & Legacy This Resource Fair & Virtual Mural Unveiling is a celebration, and culmination of the sacrifices made, that are still being made for people in our community to have a better life. We are commemorating Black August with a celebration of culture, solidarity and community. This will be BOSS’ End of Summer event in Downtown Oakland!
We will distribute healthy & sustainable food provided by 5 Sikh Seva. BOSS Bay Area Food Run will distribute food to our unhoused campuses with food provided by Community Kitchen.
BOSS Bay Area Neighborhood Impact Hubs will provide information and resources offered in Oakland neighborhoods.
