Michael Gray
Michael Gray, a native of Stockton, California, grew up actively involved in his community. He participated in team sports and volunteered as a tutor in the Stockton Unified School District. After graduating from high school, Michael left Stockton to attend the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies. Upon graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Michael moved to the Bay Area, where he has resided for over 15 years. He currently works for Waymo, an autonomous driving technology company, where he played a crucial role in launching California's first fully autonomous ride-hailing service. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Michael obtained his MBA from Saint Mary's College of California and previously worked for the City and County of San Francisco and Stanford University, where he actively participated in community-based volunteer activities. He is a dedicated member of the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, serving as the Chair of the Programs & Initiatives Committee. In his leisure time, Michael enjoys traveling, exploring the wonders of nature, and continuously expanding his knowledge through learning.
