John is the President and CEO of Nano Scale Surface Systems, Inc. in Alameda, California. He has over 40 US Patents covering nano technology and various other technologies for semiconductors, plastics packaging, medical devices as well as the fitness industry. John has extensive experience in starting and growing companies and has managed several companies from inception through to commercial success.

 

John is also the Founder of the Society of Vacuum Coaters Foundation (SVCF) and the Felts Family Foundation.  The SVCF grants yearly scholarships to college level students and the Felts Family Foundation is focused on providing under-privileged children with opportunities in their communities through sports and related activities.
